Flying Wheels - Rider Packet Pickup - Cascade Office - three shifts

 

Role description: Join our Cascade team as a volunteer and help set up the get riders ready for the ride by giving out rider packets. Tasks include site set up, answering rider questions, rider packet pickup and everything in between.

 

Coffee and meals will be provided.

 

Tasks we’ll need help with:

  Site setup and breakdown - If you are working an early shift you will help setup tables and put out the bins that hold the rider packets. Volunteers working the last shift will help put tables and unclaimed rider packets away.

  Bib pickup - Hand out packets to pre-registered riders and answer general ride questions. We will also be reassigning bibs to registered riders who did not receive their bibs in the mail in time.

 

Orientation: The week before the event we’ll hold a short 45 minute Zoom call with Zack to go over the tasks that we’ll need help with at the Packet Pickup Party. Use this link to schedule your Volunteer Orientation meeting

 

Youth Policy: We ask that youth under the age of 15 years old be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can supervise tasks and that you contact the event organizer beforehand to verify the availability of child friendly positions.
